Digital Durham, DurhamLearn and The Bread and Butter Thing are working in partnership to help County Durham residents to get online as part of a new Government funded project.
DurhamLearn is delivering 6 hours of face to face introductory digital skills training across venues in County Durham. Classes vary from getting familiar with a device, downloading apps, online services such as banking, NHS and local authority, and of course staying safe online.
The 6-hour course will be delivered over three 2-hour sessions at 12 community venues beginning wc 4 August 2025. When learners complete all sessions in the course, they will receive the following for FREE:
· Samsung A9+ tablet
· Keyboard and case
· 6-month pre-loaded data sim
Learners must complete all sessions to be eligible.
If you recognise the importance of being online and have family, friends or neighbours who are digitally excluded please share this with them and help get registered.
To register and sign up follow this link: https://tinyurl.com/2b8nsp27 or contact DurhamLearn on 03000 266 115
