Durham County Council library members have FREE access to hundreds of books and e-content on the go with the virtual library app, BorrowBox.
BorrowBox allows residents of County Durham to borrow a huge range of e-books, e-audiobooks, e-magazines, newspapers and e-comics. This content is available to download free of charge so that members can read and listen wherever they are.
The app is home to popular titles for adults and children with a simple to use layout which helps users find their next story faster. An account section holds details of loan history, reserves and what the user currently has on loan, allowing residents to easily keep track of the content their consuming.
To access BorrowBox, residents will need a free library membership card, a mobile, tablet or Kindle and an internet connection. A library card can be obtained from any of the 39 council libraries when residents sign up to library services.
