GoFibre is currently delivering a full fibre broadband network across Teesdale as part of the UK Government’s Project Gigabit which enables hard-to-reach communities to access lightning-fast gigabit-capable broadband.
The build covers the Barnard Castle, Middleton-in-Teesdale and West Auckland areas, and includes towns and villages such as Cotherstone, Ovington, Gainford, Eggleston, Romaldkirk, Mickleton, Stainton, Barnard Castle and Witton-le-Wear.
More than 6,600 Teesdale homes and businesses can already get access to the service. Full fibre enables you to work or learn effectively from home, use multiple devices at the same time, or catch up on your favourite TV shows or movies without any buffering.
