Writing letters line by line
Updating them from afar
Without Skype or FaceTime
Collaboration was face-to-face
Speaking aloud
Filing cabinets, folders
And nothing in the cloud
Shopping done between 9-5
And salesperson jargon
No 24/7 from anywhere
And no online bargain
Eye spy on road trips
With an out-of-date map
Now iPads and online games
Routes planned with an app
Books in the classroom
To learn and be in the know
Missing YouTube, Open University
And studying on the go
Can you remember a time
Before broadband came about
